Welcome to my new blog! I promise, pictures will follow soon! 

So, for now, please make do with this intro. Hank & Petal is my inspired, creative blog that will detail big and small projects and display-gasp- my writing. You may not have appreciated the gravity of the latter part of that statement, but my writing is my baby, something I have dared not expose to many people at all. But, it is time. Time to let all that's been hidden inside be let out and celebrated. If you have a child's sense of humour and love colour and energy, you won't be disappointed! If you like fantasy adventure and amazing new lands, stay tuned. 

To be clear, dear readers, I love illustrating for children. I am, after all, a child living in adults body. I have my own little book out- details to follow in future posts. I love bold, detailed, colourful drawings & paintings that are often filled with action and/or wit. I enjoy painting murals and recently, created some stage set designs- challenging and fun! I love living at Kingscliff; it's a place that for me is a constant source of inspiration. I am also hoping to be brave enough to use this blog to edit and share my pre-teen novel, The Weekend Away- 41,000+ words at present. This book reveals a bit more of my serious side, and my love of adventure. I will also reveal Hank & Petal, the characters that have inspired this blog title later on. Watch this space.

I aim to show you my process work along with my inspirations and errors. I believe in giving credit where it is due. This blog is going to be real. Hope you all find it enjoyable.
